Last updated: 9 October 2026. We recorded the withdrawal page below on 9 October 2026 on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Costa Rica (the connection was recognised by IQ Option as Costa Rican). The conditions are IQ Option’s official withdrawals page for that account, read on 8 October 2026. With no real money in the account there was no withdrawal form, and nothing was withdrawn.
A withdrawal from IQ Option in Costa Rica comes down to this: open the withdrawal page, choose a card, an e-wallet or one of six cryptocurrencies, enter the amount and confirm. The smallest amounts: about ₡ 5,739 for the six coins, ₡ 4,984 for Neteller and ₡ 900 for cards, Skrill, Volet.com and WebMoney. IQ Option charges 2% on every withdrawal after the first one of the month, up to ₡ 16,500. The steps are identical in every country, so they live in the general withdrawal guide. This page covers what differs for a Costa Rican account: the list of methods, the minimums, the fee, the waiting times and the checks for a late payout.
Quick answer
- Fee: one withdrawal per calendar month costs nothing, whatever the method; every further one costs 2%, at most ₡ 16,500 (or $30, €30 or £25).
- Minimum (official table): ₡ 900 to cards, Skrill, Volet.com and WebMoney; ₡ 4,984 to Neteller; about ₡ 5,739 to the six coins.
- No bank: the table has neither a bank nor a local wallet for a Costa Rican account; withdrawals go back to a card, an e-wallet or a crypto address.
- Time: allow up to 3 business days for IQ Option to process the request; the table lists 1–24 hours for the e-wallets and coins and, for a card, up to 21 calendar days at your bank.
- Bitcoin: not in the table, but in our account’s list on 9 October at 1 to 24 hours; no card entry appeared there.
- Empty balance: instead of a form, the withdrawal page shows “You cannot withdraw funds because your balance is 0”.
What IQ Option shows a Costa Rican account
We opened iqoption.com/en/withdrawal on 9 October 2026 over a connection that IQ Option recognised as Costa Rican, logged in to a Practice account registered in Costa Rica. The real account held $0.00, so the page showed the method list and no form. A Spanish version exists at iqoption.com/es/withdrawal.
- The page itself. At the top is the Withdrawal heading and a notice (1): 1 free withdrawal until the end of the calendar month. The left-hand column (2) shows each method with its processing time and opened with the e-wallets: on our account the selected entry was Neteller, followed by Skrill. The panel on the right belongs to the selected method, Neteller: it shows “You cannot withdraw funds because your balance is 0” (3), and its Withdrawal Conditions link (4) opens IQ Option’s official table.

- The list. The list ran to 11 entries and ended with Webmoney WMZ (2). Volet.com USD, third, was marked “Under Maintenance” that day. Seven coins followed (Tether, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum, USD Coin, Ripple, Cardano and Litecoin), and the last five are in the picture (1). Every other entry showed “1 – 24 hours”. The list showed no bank and no Visa/Mastercard entry.

- Requests and questions. Below the list, the Withdrawal requests panel (1) was empty (“No requests”). Under it, the page’s Frequently Asked Questions (2) are IQ Option’s own; some of them mention 150.00 BRL, a Brazilian figure that does not apply to a Costa Rican account.

For Neteller, Skrill, Volet.com, WebMoney and six coins (1 to 24 hours), the list and the official table agree. They differ on two points: the list shows Bitcoin, which the table does not, and it had no card entry, which the table has (two Visa/MasterCard rows). Neither has a bank. There was no form to try without a balance; your own withdrawal page is the final word on which methods you can use.
Costa Rica: methods, minimums and processing times
IQ Option’s official table, as it appears for our Costa Rican account, has these methods. The minimums are in Costa Rican colones for a colón account, and in dollars, euros or pounds for an account in those currencies.

| Method | Minimum withdrawal | Time shown |
|---|---|---|
| Visa and Mastercard: Visa/MasterCard (first row) | ₡ 900 (or $2, €3, £2) | Instant (see the note on cards) |
| Visa and Mastercard: Visa/MasterCard (second row) | ₡ 900 (or $2, €2, £2) | Instant (see the note on cards) |
| E-wallets: Neteller | ₡ 4,984 (or $10, €10, £10) | 1–24 hours |
| E-wallets: Skrill, Volet.com USD, Webmoney WMZ | ₡ 900 (or $2, €2, £2) | 1–24 hours |
| Crypto: Tether (USDT) TRC20, Ethereum (ETH) ERC-20, USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain), Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC) | about ₡ 5,739 (or $12, €10, £10) | 1–24 hours |
Costa Rica’s table shows its minimums in colones for a colón account: ₡ 900 for cards, Skrill, Volet.com and WebMoney, ₡ 4,984 for Neteller and about ₡ 5,738 to ₡ 5,739 for the six coins (₡ 5,739 for three, ₡ 5,738 for three), next to the dollar, euro and pound amounts. The fee cap is ₡ 16,500. There is no bank in the table.
Where the money can go
What you can withdraw to depends on what you deposited with, says the help centre: money from an e-wallet can only be paid back to the same e-wallet account, and a card can only be repaid up to the amount deposited with it. The Costa Rican cashier offers Banco Nacional ONLINE, Apple Pay and Google Pay besides Visa / Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and seven coins. Banco Nacional, Apple Pay and Google Pay are deposit methods only: none of them is in the withdrawal table or in the list of our account, so withdrawals go to a card, an e-wallet or a crypto address (see the deposit guide).
Fees: one free withdrawal a month, then 2%
Every calendar month, IQ Option waives the fee on one withdrawal, whichever method you use. Further withdrawals in the same month cost 2% of the amount, up to ₡ 16,500 (or $30, €30 or £25) on a colón account. A second withdrawal of ₡ 200,000 costs ₡ 4,000; one at the ₡ 5,739 crypto minimum costs ₡ 115. The cap is reached at ₡ 825,000, so a withdrawal of ₡ 2,000,000 costs ₡ 16,500, not ₡ 40,000. The bank, wallet or card issuer on the receiving side can charge too; the other costs are in our fees guide.
When the money arrives in Costa Rica
- Before the payout: the help centre says requests are processed within 3 business days, and the notes under the official table ask you to allow the same, whatever the method.
- Cards: shown as instant, but the bank that issued the card can take up to 21 calendar days. IQ Option cannot speed that up.
- Neteller, Skrill, Volet.com, WebMoney and the six coins: 1 to 24 hours in the table; according to the help centre, an e-wallet gets the money about a day after IQ Option completes the request.
What IQ Option checks before it pays
IQ Option’s help centre says you need to verify your identity before you can withdraw: a photo of an identity document, and, if you deposited by card, both sides of the card with the CVV hidden. Documents are checked within 3 business days, so verify before you need the money. See our account verification guide.
Check the rules in Costa Rica first
IQ Option let us register from Costa Rica, but that is no Costa Rican licence. The securities regulator SUGEVAL says on its investor-alerts page that entities which claim to operate in or from Costa Rica without being entered in the Registro Nacional de Valores e Intermediarios have no authorisation to offer securities to the public and are not supervised by it. IQ Option is not among the firms it names (we searched the page text on 8 October 2026), and its forex notice of 22 November 2018 calls such investments high-risk and outside SUGEVAL’s regulation. These are warnings, not a ban. Nothing here is legal advice; the deposit guide has the complete note.
Withdrawal not there yet?
- Check the status. In the Withdrawal requests panel on the withdrawal page, Requested and In process mean IQ Option is still handling it; Funds sent means it has paid out.
- Match the method to its time. A card can take 21 calendar days; e-wallets and coins are listed at 1 to 24 hours.
- Look at the amount. It has to be at least the method’s minimum and no more than your balance.
- Go to support. Start the chat from Chats & Support in the left sidebar, or email support@iqoption.com. The support guide has the details.
