Last updated: 8 October 2026. The screenshots come from two recording sessions made that day on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Guatemala (traderoom clock at UTC-6), the first in English and the second in Spanish. The VPN server we used is listed by its provider as Guatemala City and marked “virtual”; a location lookup placed it in Miami, yet IQ Option’s sign-up form accepted Guatemala as the country of residence. We halted every payment flow in front of its last button, so no money moved.
For a Guatemalan account the cashier is broad. Visa / Mastercard, Skrill and Neteller are the recommended methods, seven cryptocurrencies follow, and Apple Pay and Google Pay close the list under “Other methods”. A Guatemalan bank or wallet is not part of it, and there is no quetzal account: the currency step offers US dollars, euros and pounds, with none ticked in advance. How to deposit on IQ Option in Guatemala, step by step
We paid with Visa / Mastercard, the first recommended tile. The numbered red boxes mark the clicks in order.
At the top right of the traderoom, next to the balance, is the green Deposit button (1). The $10,000 balance is virtual Practice money.
Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows two accounts. The grey Refill to $10,000 button only restores the practice balance; the green Top up your account button (1) opens the real cashier, where the real balance reads $0.00.
Step 3: Select Visa / Mastercard
The first tile under “Recommended” is Visa / Mastercard (1); Skrill and Neteller sit beside it, all marked instant. Under “Crypto deposit” come seven coins at 5 to 60 minutes, and Apple Pay and Google Pay appear further down under “Other methods” (cut off in the picture). In our English session this page carried no banner. In the Spanish session, a few minutes later, a welcome-bonus banner with the code IQWELCOME (valid until 18 Oct 2026) stood above the list, and the picture of the Spanish version shows it.
Step 4: Pick the account currency
No currency was ticked when the step opened. We clicked USD (1) and pressed Next (2); EUR and GBP are the alternatives. IQ Option warns that the currency cannot be changed after your first deposit.
Step 5: Enter the amount
Type the amount (1) or press a preset button between $10 and $1,000. Below it sits the promotion box (2), a code field with an Apply button. On the card form of our English session the heading above it read “View available (0)”; a few minutes later, on the Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay and Tether forms and throughout the Spanish session, it read “(1)”. An offer therefore appeared during our visit, and we did not open it or apply any code.
If you type $1, the field turns red and the card limits appear beneath it: “From $10 to $11,050” (1).
Step 6: Complete the card form
The card block (1) wants the card number, the month and year of expiry, the CVC and the cardholder’s name. IQ Option has already ticked “Save my card for future instant payments” (2). Tick the terms (3) and the green Deposit $10 button (4) pays. We did not press it.

The table brings together our cashier and IQ Option’s public deposits page, both read on 8 October 2026. The page lists six methods, each from 10 USD (10 EUR, 10 GBP) with 0% commission and instant processing.

Volet.com is listed on the page only. The page also warns that, until your account is fully verified, some countries restrict certain deposit methods.
Depositing with Skrill
Skrill accepted $10 to $1,000,000. Enter the amount (1), tick the terms (2) and press Proceed to Payment (3), which takes you to Skrill’s own page. We did not press it.
Depositing with Neteller
Neteller took the same $10 to $1,000,000. After the amount (1), the form asks for the email address of your Neteller account (2), and “Link my Neteller Account for instant payments” is already ticked. Accept the terms (3) and Deposit $10 (4) pays. We typed no address and did not press the button.
Depositing with Apple Pay
Apple Pay’s range was $10 to $11,050, the same as for cards. After the amount (1), a grey reminder (2) says to link a bank card to Apple Pay before you start, otherwise the payment cannot be completed. Accept the terms (3) and press Proceed to Payment (4) to go on to the payment page. We stopped before that click, and we did not open the Google Pay form, which is listed in the same block.
Depositing with Tether (USDT) and other coins
The coins are Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) on TRC20 and USDC on BNB Smart Chain; IQ Option converts them into your account currency. For Tether the range was $10 to $1,000,000. After the amount (1), a grey note (2) says the wallet address on the next page can be used repeatedly for any amount of $10 or more. Tick the terms (3), press Proceed to Payment (4) and send only over TRC20. See also does IQ Option accept crypto.
Withdrawing from IQ Option in Guatemala
According to the withdrawals page, the first withdrawal of each calendar month is free whatever the method (1); later ones cost 2%, with a cap of 30 USD (30 EUR, 25 GBP). Two Visa/MasterCard rows (2) open the list, followed by seven coins, Neteller, Skrill, Volet.com USD and WebMoney WMZ. Neither Apple Pay nor Google Pay can receive a payout, and there is no bank transfer.

A footnote lets card issuers take up to 21 calendar days and says any request may need up to 3 business days. The withdrawal coins are Binance Coin, Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether (TRC20) and USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain); Bitcoin is not among them. Check the rules in Guatemala first
IQ Option let us register from Guatemala, but that is no Guatemalan authorisation. The Superintendencia de Bancos (SIB) keeps an “Alerta al Público” page. In the archived copy that we read, captured on 24 June 2025, it tells people to be careful with offers of operations that promise high returns “far above what the market offers”, and to check that the company has “the proper backing of a legally constituted and supervised institution” (our translation). It names no company and no trading platform. The live page blocked our automated connection, so we cannot say what it shows today, and the central bank’s home page (Banguat) carried no notice about trading platforms on 8 October 2026. We found no block of the site and no case against people who write about IQ Option. This is not legal advice: decide for yourself, with advice if you need it, and never risk more than you can afford to lose. What other regulators have said about IQ Option is in our legitimacy check.
If your deposit has not arrived
- Compare with the time shown. Cards, wallets and Apple Pay are instant; coins can take up to an hour.
- Check the Neteller email. It must be the address of your own Neteller account.
- Check the network. A coin sent over a different chain from the one on the form can be lost; Tether uses TRC20.
- Ask your bank. Card payments abroad are sometimes refused; have the issuer allow it or use an e-wallet.
