Last updated: 5 October 2026. Every screenshot below was recorded that day (Mexico time) on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Mexico, over a Mexican connection. We stopped before the final payment button, so no money was sent.
To deposit on IQ Option from Mexico, you open the cashier, choose SPEI, a card or a cash payment such as OXXO, set pesos (MXN) as your account currency, enter at least 175 MXN and add your details, including your CURP for SPEI and OXXO. This guide shows each step with SPEI on the Mexican cashier. It then covers paying cash at OXXO and other shops, card deposits, the official minimums and how withdrawals to Mexican banks work.

- Limits we saw: SPEI 175–50,000 MXN; OXXO CASH 175–7,518 MXN; Mastercard 175–194,370 MXN.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Mexico, step by step
We followed the steps with SPEI, the first method the Mexican cashier recommends. The numbers in each screenshot show where to click, in order.
Step 1: Click Deposit
In the traderoom, click the green Deposit button at the top right, next to your balance (1).

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows your free Practice balance ($10,000) and your real account, which on a Mexican account is in pesos (0.00 Mex$). Refill to $10,000 only refills the Practice account with virtual money, which cannot be withdrawn. To deposit real money, click Top up your account (1).

Step 3: Choose SPEI
The Mexican cashier recommends SPEI, Mastercard and Visa. Below them it lists seven cryptocurrencies, then the other methods: cash payments such as OXXO CASH, e-wallets, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Click SPEI (1).

Step 4: Choose pesos (MXN) as your account currency
Before your first deposit, the cashier asks for the currency of your real account. A Mexican account can choose MXN, EUR, GBP or USD. Select MXN (1) and click Next (2). IQ Option warns that you cannot change the currency after your first deposit. If you pay and withdraw in pesos, MXN keeps your balance in pesos.

Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus
Type the amount (1) or click one of the quick amounts. SPEI accepted 175 to 50,000 MXN on our account, and the field marks anything outside that range in red.
The welcome-bonus code IQWELCOME was already applied (2). The bonus starts at 180 MXN, so the 175 MXN minimum gets none. On 200 MXN it added 50% (100 MXN), and the quick amounts showed up to +100% from 5,000 MXN. If you do not want a bonus, remove the code with the × before you pay, and read the bonus terms behind the (i) icon first.

Step 6: Enter your name and CURP, then confirm
Enter your real name and your CURP (1). IQ Option warns that the payment is rejected if the CURP is not your own valid one; you can look yours up at gob.mx/curp. Tick the box to accept the terms (2) and click Proceed to Payment (3). IQ Option then sends you to the payment page to complete the transfer.
We stopped at this screen and did not pay. The form says the provider processes 90% of SPEI payments within 2 minutes and that the maximum is 60 minutes.

Depositing with a bank card in Mexico
Mastercard and Visa are in the Mexican cashier’s recommended methods. Mastercard is listed as instant, and Visa as “Fast verification”. Choose your card, set the currency and enter the amount: the Mastercard form accepted 175 to 194,370 MXN (1). Then enter the card number, the expiry date (MM/YY), the cardholder’s name and the CVC, the three digits on the back of the card (2). Save my card for future instant payments was ticked by default; untick it if you do not want the card stored. Accept the terms and confirm the deposit. Use a card in your own name.

Depositing with crypto from Mexico
The Mexican cashier listed seven coins, each at 5 to 60 minutes: Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, XRP, Tether (USDT, TRC20) and USDC (BNB Smart Chain). IQ Option converts the coins to your account currency, so you do not hold crypto on the platform. See does IQ Option accept crypto for the full steps.
