Last updated: 8 October 2026. We recorded the screenshots below in a single session that evening, on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Belize (traderoom clock at UTC-6). Our VPN server is flagged “virtual” by its provider, which lists it as Belize City; a location lookup placed it in Miami, yet the sign-up form accepted Belize as the country of residence. Every payment flow ended in front of the final button, so nothing was paid.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Belize, step by step
Visa / Mastercard is the single recommended tile, so the card route is the simple one. Numbered red boxes mark the clicks.
Step 1: Click Deposit
Look at the top right of the traderoom: the green Deposit button (1) is beside the balance. The $10,000 shown is play money from the Practice account.
Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
In the Make a Deposit window the grey Refill to $10,000 button is for play money; the green Top up your account button (1) leads to the real account, which holds $0.00.
Step 3: Select Visa / Mastercard
A banner with the code IQWELCOME (valid until 18 Oct 2026) heads the page. Just one tile is recommended: Visa / Mastercard (1), marked instant. Seven coins, each taking 5 to 60 minutes, are listed under “Crypto deposit”.
Step 4: Choose the account currency
USD, EUR and GBP were on offer, none ticked. We clicked USD (1) and then Next (2). A grey notice says the currency cannot be changed after the first deposit.
Step 5: Enter the amount
Write the amount in the field (1) or tap a preset between $10 and $1,000. Below, the promotion box (2) is a blank code field with an Apply button, headed “View available (1)”. We opened no offer and entered no code.
A dollar is too little: the field turns red and the card limits show underneath, “From $10 to $11,050” (1).
Step 6: Fill in the card form
Into the card block (1) go the number, the expiry month and year, the CVC and the cardholder’s name. “Save my card for future instant payments” is ticked already (2). With the terms accepted (3), the green Deposit $10 button (4) pays. It stayed unpressed.

IQ Option’s public deposits page, read on 8 October 2026, lists a single method for a Belize account: Visa / Mastercard, from 10 USD (10 EUR, 10 GBP), 0% commission, instant. The table adds the coins from our cashier.

Depositing with Ethereum and other coins
Seven coins are accepted: Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) on TRC20 and USDC on BNB Smart Chain, all converted into the currency of your account. Ethereum served as our example, with the range “From $10 to $1,000,000”; the other coin forms were not opened. After the amount (1), the grey note (2) explains that the wallet address on the next page stays usable for any sum from $10. Accept the terms (3), then press Proceed to Payment (4), and send only the coin and network that the form names. Related: does IQ Option accept crypto.
Withdrawing from IQ Option in Belize
The withdrawals page makes the first withdrawal of every calendar month free, whichever method you use (1); later ones cost 2%, up to 30 USD. Rows: Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin, two Visa/MasterCard entries (2), Ripple, Tether, USD Coin, Volet.com USD and WebMoney WMZ. Neteller and Skrill are missing, and so is any bank transfer.

By the footnote, card issuers may take up to 21 calendar days and a request up to 3 business days. Six coins are withdrawable (Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether on TRC20 and USD Coin on BNB Smart Chain), not Bitcoin. The list inside an account was outside our test; read yours. Check the rules in Belize first
IQ Option let us register from Belize, but that is no Belizean licence. Two public documents of the country’s regulators are worth knowing. The International Financial Services Commission published a cumulative warning list on 6 July 2020 of entities and individuals who “are not licensed under the IFSC Act” to provide international financial services “in or from within Belize”. It numbers 288 entries with addresses in many countries, among them names such as “World Binary Option” (listed in June 2019). Its concern is licensing under the IFSC Act for services provided in or from within Belize; it says nothing about foreign brokers that serve Belizean residents, and IQ Option is not on it. On 5 August 2026 the Financial Services Commission issued a warning notice about emails and a website that falsely suggest an association with it; the notice names no trading platform. We found no block of IQ Option, no case against people who write about it and no notice that names it. This is not legal advice. If your deposit has not arrived
- Check the time shown. A card payment is instant; coins can take up to an hour.
- Check the network. A coin sent over a chain other than the form’s can be lost for good.
- Ask your bank. Card payments to overseas merchants are sometimes refused; the issuer can tell you.
