The VPN server we used is listed by its provider as Vientiane and marked “virtual”, and a location lookup placed it in Singapore; IQ Option’s sign-up form nevertheless read Laos as the country of residence. We stopped every flow short of the final payment button; no money left the account.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Laos, step by step
We paid with Mastercard, the first tile in the cashier. The red numbers on the screenshots follow the order of the clicks.
Step 1: Click Deposit
Use the green Deposit button in the top-right corner of the traderoom (1). The $10,000 next to it is Practice money; the real balance is zero.
Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows two accounts. Refill to $10,000 on the left only resets the practice balance. For real money press Top up your account (1) on the right, where the balance reads $0.00.
Step 3: Choose Mastercard
The page opens with a welcome-bonus banner (code IQWELCOME, valid until 18 Oct 2026). “Recommended” lists Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, each marked instant. Below come seven coins at 5 to 60 minutes, and “Other methods” closes the page with Visa (tagged “Fast verification”), Siam Commercial Bank and Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri). Click Mastercard (1).
Step 4: Choose the account currency
The currency step had USD ticked (1); EUR and GBP are the other choices, and there is no kip account. Press Next (2). The grey notice means what it says: after your first deposit the currency cannot be changed.
Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus
Type the amount (1) or use a preset, from $10 to $1,000. The IQWELCOME code was already in place (2). Ten dollars produced “Bonus 50%”, +$5, with $15 credited. The presets listed +70% on $20, +80% on $30, +90% on $50 and $100, and +100% from $250. If you want no bonus, remove the code with the ×.
A single dollar turns the field red. The Mastercard range then shows below it as “From $10 to $11,050” (1), and the bonus box reads “Deposit $10 or more to get a bonus” (2).
Step 6: Enter your card details and confirm
The card block (1) wants the number, expiry month and year, CVC and the holder’s name. The box for saving the card for later instant payments is already ticked (2). After the terms box (3) is ticked, the green Deposit $10 button (4) takes the payment. We did not press it.

The table sets our cashier beside IQ Option’s public deposits page, both read on 8 October 2026. The page names seven methods with 0% commission and instant processing: $10 (10 EUR, 10 GBP, 700 RUB) for the cards, wallets and Volet.com, and $17 (15 EUR, 13 GBP, 1384 RUB) for the two Thai banks.

Volet.com is on the page but not in the cashier; the coins are in the cashier but not on the page. A note under the table says some countries cannot use certain deposit methods until the account is fully verified.
Depositing with Siam Commercial Bank (SCB Easy Net)
SCB Easy Net is a Thai bank, and why a Laotian account is offered it, we cannot say. Its form asked for at least $17 and at most $13,714. With $17 typed in (1) the bonus code (2) gave 60%, that is $10.20, so $27.20 would be credited. Then tick the terms (3) and press Proceed to Payment (4); IQ Option says you are redirected to a payment page. We stopped before that click, and we did not open the Krungsri or Visa forms.
Depositing with Tether (USDT) and other crypto
Under “Crypto deposit” the cashier lists Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) on TRC20 and USDC on BNB Smart Chain. The coin you send is converted into your account currency when it arrives. The Tether form accepted $10 to $1,000,000. Enter the amount (1), read the grey note (2): the wallet address on the next page can be reused for any amount of $10 or more. Tick the terms (3) and press Proceed to Payment (4). Withdrawing from IQ Option in Laos
On IQ Option’s withdrawals page one withdrawal per calendar month is free, whichever method you use (1); after that the fee is 2%, capped at 30 USD (30 EUR or 25 GBP). Unlike the deposit side, the list includes two Thai banks, Bangkok Bank and Krung Thai Bank (2, 3), at $16 and 1 to 3 business days. There are also cards, wallets, WebMoney and coins.

The footnote gives card issuers up to 21 calendar days, and the page says any request can take up to 3 business days. The six coins are Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether (TRC20) and USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain); the official table has no Bitcoin row and no Skrill, and we did not open the withdrawal list inside the account, so check yours. Check the rules in Laos first
IQ Option let us register from Laos, but that is no Lao licence, and Laos controls foreign exchange closely. According to the law firm Tilleke & Gibbins’s summary of the Law on Foreign Exchange Management No. 15/NA of 7 July 2022, only licensed commercial banks may buy and sell foreign currency, and fines of LAK 10 to 20 million per transaction apply to anyone who uses an unauthorised foreign exchange service or exports capital for investment abroad without the approval of the Bank of the Lao PDR (BOL). Vientiane Times reported on 26 April 2023 that the BOL had told the public to avoid currency exchange services from unauthorised sources, including those advertised on social media and other online platforms. Neither source mentions IQ Option, binary options or trading platforms, and we cannot tell how the rules apply to a deposit with a foreign broker. In a search on 8 October 2026 we found no Lao notice naming IQ Option and no action against people who write about it. The server we used exits abroad, so we could not test a block by a Lao internet provider. This is not legal advice: work out your own position before you deposit and never risk more than you can afford to lose. If your deposit has not arrived
- Look at the time shown. Cards, wallets and the Thai banks are instant; coins need 5 to 60 minutes.
- Match the network. Coins sent over a different chain from the one on the form can be lost. For Tether it is TRC20.
- Check the card. A bank may block online payments to foreign merchants; ask it to allow this one, or try another method.
