Last updated: 5 October 2026. Every screenshot below was recorded that day (Malaysia time) on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Malaysia, over a Malaysian connection. We stopped before the final payment button, so no money was sent.
To deposit on IQ Option from Malaysia, you open the cashier, choose your bank or DuitNow QR, set ringgit (MYR) as your account currency, enter at least RM 50 and confirm. Maybank asked for no other details on our account. This guide shows each step with Maybank on the Malaysian cashier. It then covers DuitNow QR, card deposits, the official minimums and how withdrawals to Malaysian banks work.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Malaysia, step by step
We followed the steps with Maybank, the first method the Malaysian cashier recommends. The numbers in each screenshot show where to click, in order.
Step 1: Click Deposit
In the traderoom, click the green Deposit button at the top right, next to your balance (1). On our Malaysian account the top bar also had an Islamic account switch (OFF).

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows your free Practice balance ($10,000) and your real account, which on a Malaysian account is in ringgit (RM 0.00). Refill to $10,000 only refills the Practice account with virtual money, which cannot be withdrawn. To deposit real money, click Top up your account (1).

Step 3: Choose your bank
The Malaysian cashier recommends Maybank, CIMB Bank and DuitNow QR. Below them it lists seven cryptocurrencies and more banks, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank and AmBank, then cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Volet.com. Click your bank, here Maybank (1).

Step 4: Choose ringgit (MYR) as your account currency
Before your first deposit, the cashier asks for the currency of your real account. A Malaysian account can choose MYR, EUR, GBP or USD. Select MYR (1) and click Next (2). IQ Option warns that you cannot change the currency after your first deposit. If you pay and withdraw in ringgit, MYR keeps your balance in ringgit.

Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus
Type the amount (1) or click one of the quick amounts. Maybank accepted RM 50 to RM 50,000 on our account, and the field marks anything outside that range in red.
The welcome-bonus code IQWELCOME was already applied (2). On RM 50 it added 50% (RM 25), the bonus starts at RM 41, and the quick amounts showed up to +100% from RM 1,000. If you do not want a bonus, remove the code with the × before you pay, and read the bonus terms behind the (i) icon first.

Step 6: Accept the terms and confirm
Maybank asked for no payment details on our account. Tick the box to accept the terms (1) and click Proceed to Payment (2). IQ Option then sends you to the payment page to complete the payment.
We stopped at this screen and did not pay. The cashier lists Maybank at 1 to 5 minutes.

All deposit methods in Malaysia
These are the methods we saw on our Malaysian account on 5 October 2026. In Malaysia the minimum depends on the method. The minimums below are from IQ Option’s deposits page.
| Method | Time shown in the cashier | Minimum and notes |
|---|---|---|
| Maybank | 1–5 minutes | RM 50; up to RM 50,000; no details asked |
| CIMB Bank, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank, AmBank | 1–5 minutes | RM 50 |
| DuitNow QR | 1–2 minutes | RM 100; up to RM 3,000 |
| Mastercard, Visa | Instant | RM 42; Mastercard up to RM 46,000 |
| Apple Pay, Google Pay, Volet.com | Instant | RM 42 |
| 7 cryptocurrencies | 5–60 minutes | Converted to your account currency |
In dollars, the deposits page lists $10 for cards and e-wallets, $14 for the banks and $27 for DuitNow QR. Every method has 0% commission.

Paying with DuitNow QR
DuitNow QR accepted RM 100 to RM 3,000 (1), and its quick amounts stopped at RM 1,000. Unlike Maybank, it asks for your real name, your surname and your phone number, which starts with 60 and has 11 or 12 digits (2). Then tick the terms and click Proceed to Payment. The cashier lists DuitNow QR at 1 to 2 minutes.

Depositing with a bank card in Malaysia
Mastercard and Visa are in the Malaysian cashier’s list of other methods, both listed as instant. Choose your card, set the currency and enter the amount: the Mastercard form accepted RM 42 to RM 46,000 (1). Then enter the card number, the expiry date (MM/YY), the cardholder’s name and the CVC, the three digits on the back of the card (2). Accept the terms and confirm the deposit. Use a card in your own name.

Depositing with crypto from Malaysia
The Malaysian cashier listed the same seven coins we saw in other countries: Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, XRP, Tether (USDT, TRC20) and USDC (BNB Smart Chain), each at 5 to 60 minutes. IQ Option converts the coins to your account currency, so you do not hold crypto on the platform. See does IQ Option accept crypto for the full steps.
Withdrawing from IQ Option in Malaysia
IQ Option’s withdrawals page for a Malaysian account gives you one free withdrawal per calendar month, whatever the method (1). After that, IQ Option charges 2%, at most RM 125 (or $30, €30 or £25).
- Malaysian banks: from RM 50. CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Maybank, Public Bank and RHB Bank are listed at 1 to 24 hours; AmBank’s entry says “1 – 24 business days”.
- Cards: from RM 10 (the page lists two card entries, from RM 10 and RM 13). It notes that your bank can take up to 21 calendar days to process a card withdrawal.
- E-wallets: Volet.com and WebMoney from RM 10.
- Crypto: six coins from RM 50. Bitcoin was not in the withdrawal list.
The page also asks you to allow up to 3 business days for a withdrawal request to be processed. Read how to withdraw from IQ Option for the steps.
