Last updated: 9 October 2026. The withdrawal page below was recorded on 9 October 2026 on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Kenya, over a connection that IQ Option recognised as Kenyan, and the conditions come from IQ Option’s official withdrawals page for that account, read on 5 October 2026. The account held no real money, so IQ Option showed the list of methods but no form. We did not withdraw anything.
Getting money out of IQ Option in Kenya takes a visit to the withdrawal page, where you choose Mpesa, a card, an e-wallet or one of six cryptocurrencies, enter the amount and confirm. Minimums in the official table: cards, Skrill, WebMoney and Volet.com at $2, Mpesa and Neteller at $10 and the six coins at $12. One withdrawal a month costs nothing; every later one costs 2%, capped at $30. On the account we tested, the Mpesa entry was marked “Under Maintenance” on 9 October. What follows is specific to a Kenyan account: how the withdrawal page looks, which methods and minimums the official table lists, what the fee is and how long to wait. The steps that never change are in the general withdrawal guide.
Quick answer
- Fee: one withdrawal per calendar month costs nothing, whatever the method; every further one costs 2%, at most $30 (€30 or £25).
- Minimum (official table): $2 to cards, Skrill, WebMoney and Volet.com; $10 to Mpesa and Neteller; $12 to the six coins.
- Local methods: Mpesa.
- Time: IQ Option asks for up to 3 business days; then most methods are listed at 1–24 hours and a card can take up to 21 calendar days at your bank.
- Bitcoin: on 9 October the withdrawal page of our account listed it (1 to 24 hours) although the official table does not; there was no card entry.
- Empty balance: the withdrawal page shows “You cannot withdraw funds because your balance is 0” instead of a form.
What the withdrawal page looks like in Kenya
This is iqoption.com/en/withdrawal as it looked on 9 October 2026 for a Practice account registered in Kenya (connection recognised by IQ Option as Kenyan). The real account held $0.00, so there was a method list but no form.
- The page itself. Under the Withdrawal heading, a notice (1) says that you have 1 free withdrawal until the end of the calendar month. On the left (2), a column lists the methods and their processing time. It opened with a coin: on our account the selected entry was USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain), and the second entry was Mpesa, marked “Under Maintenance” that day. The panel on the right belongs to the selected method, USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain): it shows “You cannot withdraw funds because your balance is 0” (3), and its Withdrawal Conditions link (4) opens IQ Option’s official table.

- The list. 12 entries were listed. After USD Coin and Mpesa came Tether (USDT) TRC20, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano and Litecoin, then Skrill and Neteller (1), Volet.com USD, marked “Under Maintenance” like Mpesa (2), and last Webmoney WMZ. Each of the other entries showed “1 – 24 hours”. There was no bank and no Visa/Mastercard entry.

- Requests and questions. Below the list, the Withdrawal requests panel (1) was empty (“No requests”). Under it, the page’s Frequently Asked Questions (2) are IQ Option’s own; some of them mention 150.00 BRL, a Brazilian figure that does not apply to a Kenyan account.

Both sources agree on Mpesa, Skrill, Neteller, Volet.com, WebMoney and six coins, at 1 to 24 hours. Where they disagree: the list shows Bitcoin, which the table omits, and the list has no card entry, which the table has. No bank is in either. Mpesa was on the list but marked “Under Maintenance” on 9 October, so look at your own list before you plan a withdrawal to M-Pesa. We could not open a form to test a withdrawal, so check your own withdrawal page for the methods your account can use.
Kenya: methods, minimums and processing times
IQ Option’s official table for our Kenyan account lists these methods. All minimums are in dollars, euros or pounds, because that is what a Kenyan account can be held in.

| Method | Minimum withdrawal | Time shown |
|---|---|---|
| Local methods: Mpesa | $10 (or €10, £10) | 1–24 hours |
| Visa and Mastercard: Visa/MasterCard (first row) | $2 (or €3, £2) | Instant (see the note on cards) |
| Visa and Mastercard: Visa/MasterCard (second row) | $2 (or €2, £2) | Instant (see the note on cards) |
| E-wallets: Skrill, Webmoney WMZ, Volet.com USD | $2 (or €2, £2) | 1–24 hours |
| E-wallets: Neteller | $10 (or €10, £10) | 1–24 hours |
| Crypto: USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain), Tether (USDT) TRC20, Ethereum (ETH) ERC-20, Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC) | $12 (or €10, £10) | 1–24 hours |
Kenya’s table has one local method, Mpesa, at $10 (the same minimum as Neteller) and 1 to 24 hours, and no bank. It has two Visa/MasterCard rows that differ only in the euro minimum (€3 on the first, €2 on the second). The account is held in US dollars, euros or pounds, so no minimum is shown in shillings.
Deposits decide withdrawal methods
IQ Option’s help centre links the two directions: the method you deposit with limits where you can withdraw. An e-wallet deposit can only come back to the same e-wallet account, and a card payout cannot be larger than what the card paid in. Mpesa is on IQ Option’s official deposits and withdrawals pages for Kenya, but it was not in the cashier of our Kenyan account, so we could not record a deposit form (see the deposit guide). The withdrawal list did show it, marked “Under Maintenance” on 9 October.
What a withdrawal costs: free once a month, then 2%
The notice at the top of the withdrawal page says that you have 1 free withdrawal per calendar month, whatever the payment method. After the free one, each withdrawal in that month costs 2% of the amount, at most $30 (€30 or £25) on a dollar account. A second withdrawal of $300 costs $6; one at the $12 crypto minimum costs $0.24. The cap is reached at $1,500, so a withdrawal of $7,500 costs $30, not $150. Your bank, wallet or card issuer may charge its own fee. Our fees guide covers the other costs.
Processing times for Kenya
- IQ Option’s side: processing takes up to 3 business days whatever the method, according to the notes under the table and the help centre.
- Mpesa: 1 to 24 hours (listed in the table).
- Cards: listed as instant in the table; the card issuer can take up to 21 calendar days to credit the money, and IQ Option cannot speed that up.
- E-wallets and crypto: 1 to 24 hours in the table (Skrill, WebMoney, Volet.com, Neteller and the six coins); the help centre says the money reaches an e-wallet within about a day of IQ Option completing the request.
Verify first, withdraw second
You need to be verified before the first payout. The help centre asks for an identity document and, if you funded the account by card, both sides of that card with the CVV hidden; it promises a check within 3 business days. Upload them before your first request. Our account verification guide walks through it.
A note on the rules in Kenya
IQ Option accepts Kenyan sign-ups, but that is not the same as Kenyan approval. The Capital Markets Authority published a cautionary statement on online forex trading by unlicensed entities, reported in April 2020. It says that offshore firms advertising online foreign exchange products in Kenya without a licence are acting illegally and must stop. The statement is about forex brokers, and we are not lawyers. The deposit guide has the full note; check your own position before you deposit or withdraw.
When a withdrawal is late
- Open the requests panel. On the withdrawal page, a request marked Requested or In process is still with IQ Option; Funds sent means it has paid out and the delay is on the receiving side.
- Compare with the table. A card can take 21 calendar days; the other methods are listed at 1 to 24 hours.
- Look at the amount. It has to be at least the method’s minimum and no more than your balance.
- Write to support. Chats & Support in the left sidebar opens the chat; the email address is support@iqoption.com. More in our support guide.
Withdrawal guides by country
The list of methods and the minimums follow the country of registration. The same recording method was used for these guides:
- Ghana: Mobile money, cards, e-wallets, crypto
- Brazil: 18 banks, cards, Skrill
- Nigeria: 5 banks, OPay, cards
- Malaysia: 6 banks, cards, e-wallets
- Thailand: 9 banks, cards, e-wallets
- Philippines: GCash, Maya, 8 banks
- South Africa: 6 banks, cards, e-wallets
- Colombia: Nequi, Bre-B, 5 banks
Every country guide is in the grid on the IQ Option withdrawal guide.
The other direction is covered in the Kenya deposit guide.
