Last updated: 5 October 2026. Every screenshot below was recorded that day (Kenya time) on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Kenya, over a connection that IQ Option recognised as Kenyan. We stopped before the final payment button, so no money was sent.
On a Kenyan IQ Option account you deposit in US dollars, euros or pounds, not shillings. Our cashier offered Visa / Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Volet.com and seven cryptocurrencies, with a $10 minimum on every method that IQ Option’s deposits page lists. M-Pesa appears on that page and on the withdrawals page, but it was not in our cashier. This guide follows a $10 card deposit step by step, then covers Skrill, Tether (USDT), the M-Pesa gap, the official minimums, withdrawals and a note on local rules.
Quick answer
- Minimum: $10 for every method on the deposits page, or €10, £10 or 1,000 RUB.
- Fee: 0% from IQ Option on every method.
- In our cashier: Visa / Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and Volet.com (instant) and seven cryptocurrencies (5–60 minutes). M-Pesa is on the official pages but was not in our cashier.
- Limits we saw: Visa / Mastercard $10–11,050; Skrill, Neteller and Tether (USDT) TRC20 $10–1,000,000.
- Currency: USD, EUR or GBP, chosen before your first deposit and fixed after it. There is no shilling account.
- Withdrawals: one free per month, then 2% (at most $30); cards and e-wallets from $2, Mpesa and Neteller from $10, crypto from $12.
- Local rules: the Capital Markets Authority has warned against unlicensed online forex firms; read the note before you deposit.
How to deposit on IQ Option in Kenya, step by step
We followed the steps with Visa / Mastercard, the first method the Kenyan cashier recommends. The numbers in each screenshot show where to click, in order.
Step 1: Click Deposit
In the traderoom, click the green Deposit button at the top right, next to your balance (1). Every new account starts with $10,000 of virtual Practice money.

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows your Practice account ($10,000) next to the real one, which starts at $0.00 in US dollars. Refill to $10,000 only tops up the Practice account with virtual money that cannot be withdrawn. To pay in real money, click Top up your account (1).

Step 3: Choose Visa / Mastercard
The cashier recommends Visa / Mastercard, Skrill and Neteller. Below them it lists seven cryptocurrencies and one other method, Volet.com. Click Visa / Mastercard (1). A banner above the list offers a welcome bonus “up to 100%” with the code IQWELCOME, marked “Expires 15 Oct 2026” on the day we recorded.

Step 4: Choose US dollars (USD) as your account currency
The cashier now asks for the currency of your real account. Our Kenyan account could pick USD, EUR or GBP, and there was no shilling option. Select USD (1) and click Next (2). IQ Option warns that the currency cannot be changed after your first deposit. A card in shillings is converted by your bank, so ask it about the rate and any foreign-currency fee first.

Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus
Type the amount (1) or use one of the eight quick amounts, from $10 to $1,000. The card form accepted $10 to $11,050, and the field turns red outside that range.
The welcome-bonus code IQWELCOME was already applied (2). On $10 it added 50% ($5), which would credit $15; the quick amounts showed +70% on $20, +90% on $50 and +100% from $250. Under $10 the form says “Deposit $10 or more to get a bonus”. To skip the bonus, remove the code with the × before you pay, and read its terms behind the (i) icon first.

Step 6: Enter your card details and confirm
Fill in the card number, the expiry date (MM/YY), the cardholder’s name and the CVC, the three digits on the back (1). Save my card for future instant payments comes ticked (2); untick it if you prefer not to store the card. Tick the terms box (3) and click Deposit $10 (4). Pay with a card in your own name.
We stopped on this screen and did not pay. The cashier lists Visa / Mastercard as instant.

All deposit methods in Kenya
These are the methods on our Kenyan account on 5 October 2026. IQ Option’s deposits page lists $10, €10, £10 or 1,000 RUB for each method it names.
| Method | Time shown | Limits and notes |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | $10 to $11,050 |
| Skrill | Instant | $10 to $1,000,000 |
| Neteller | Instant | $10 to $1,000,000 |
| Volet.com | Instant | $10 |
| M-Pesa | Instant on the deposits page | On the deposits page, not in our cashier |
| 7 cryptocurrencies | 5–60 minutes | Tether (USDT) TRC20: $10 to $1,000,000 |
Every method on the deposits page has 0% commission and is processed as instant. The seven cryptocurrencies are in the cashier but not on the page.

Paying with Skrill or Neteller
Skrill and Neteller are both listed as instant and both accepted $10 to $1,000,000. After you choose one, pick USD and click Next as above. On the Skrill form we typed the amount (1) and saw the bonus code (2); then the terms box (3) and Proceed to Payment (4). The form says you are redirected to the payment page, so your wallet login is not typed on IQ Option. We stopped there.

Where is M-Pesa?
M-Pesa is the method most Kenyan readers look for. IQ Option’s own deposits page lists it as instant with the same $10 minimum, as the highlighted row in the screenshot above shows, and the withdrawals page lists Mpesa from $10 in 1 to 24 hours. Our cashier did not: the list ended with Volet.com, and searching for “pesa” in the cashier’s search box (1) returned no method. We therefore could not record an M-Pesa form or limits. The official pages show the methods IQ Option holds for a Kenyan account, while the cashier shows what it offers on the day, so open your own cashier to see whether M-Pesa is there.

Depositing with Tether (USDT) and other crypto
The cashier lists seven coins at 5 to 60 minutes each: Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, XRP, Tether (USDT, TRC20) and USDC (BNB Smart Chain). IQ Option converts the coin into your account currency, so no crypto stays on the platform.
The Tether (USDT) TRC20 form accepted $10 to $1,000,000. Enter the amount (1), read the grey note (2), which says the wallet address on the next page can be used again for any amount of $10 or more, then tick the terms (3) and click Proceed to Payment (4). Send USDT on the TRC20 network only. See does IQ Option accept crypto for more.

Withdrawing from IQ Option in Kenya
The withdrawals page for a Kenyan account allows one free withdrawal per calendar month, whatever the method (1). After that, each withdrawal costs 2%, at most $30. Mpesa is on the list, from $10 in 1 to 24 hours (2); there are no bank transfers:
- Cards: Visa and MasterCard from $2, listed as instant. The page warns that your bank can take up to 21 calendar days to process a card withdrawal.
- E-wallets: Skrill, Volet.com and WebMoney WMZ from $2, Neteller from $10, each in 1 to 24 hours.
- Crypto: six coins from $12, in 1 to 24 hours: USDC (BNB Smart Chain), Tether (USDT) TRC20, Ethereum (ERC-20), XRP, Cardano and Litecoin. Bitcoin is not in the withdrawal list.
The page also asks you to allow up to 3 business days for a withdrawal request to be processed. Read how to withdraw from IQ Option for the steps.

Check the rules in Kenya first
IQ Option accepts Kenyan sign-ups, but that is not the same as Kenyan approval. The Capital Markets Authority published a cautionary statement on online forex trading by unlicensed entities, reported in April 2020. It warns Kenyans against trading through the platforms of firms the Authority has not licensed, says that offshore firms advertising online foreign exchange products in Kenya without a licence are acting illegally and must stop, and promises enforcement action against firms collecting client funds in breach of the rules. The statement is about forex brokers, and we are not lawyers, so check the position for the trading you plan before you deposit. Never put in money you cannot afford to lose.
If your deposit has not arrived
- Ask your card issuer. A bank may block a card payment to an overseas merchant until you allow international online payments. Skrill, Neteller and Volet.com are listed as instant.
- Check the crypto network. Send each coin only on the network named in the method, for example TRC20 for Tether.
- Contact support. Use the chat inside the platform (Chats & Support in the left sidebar) or email support@iqoption.com. See our support guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the minimum deposit on IQ Option in Kenya?
A: $10, or €10, £10 or 1,000 RUB, for every method on IQ Option’s deposits page on 5 October 2026. Do the sums in shillings with your card’s exchange rate, because the account itself is in dollars, euros or pounds.
Q: Can I deposit with M-Pesa?
A: IQ Option’s deposits page for a Kenyan account lists M-Pesa as instant, with a $10 minimum and 0% commission, and its withdrawals page lists Mpesa from $10. Our cashier showed no M-Pesa on the same day, and a search for “pesa” found nothing, so we could not record its form. Check the list in your own cashier.
Q: Can I deposit in Kenyan shillings?
A: Not on our account. The currency step offered only USD, EUR and GBP, and the choice is fixed after your first deposit. A shilling card is converted by your bank.
Q: Which cards work for a deposit?
A: Visa and Mastercard share one tile in the Kenyan cashier. It accepted $10 to $11,050 and is listed as instant. Use a card in your own name.
Q: Does IQ Option charge a deposit fee in Kenya?
A: No. Every method on IQ Option’s deposits page showed 0% commission. Your bank, wallet or exchange may charge its own fees.
Q: How do I withdraw from IQ Option in Kenya?
A: To a card or Skrill, Volet.com or WebMoney WMZ (from $2), to Neteller or M-Pesa (from $10), or to one of six cryptocurrencies (from $12). One withdrawal per calendar month is free; after that IQ Option charges 2%, at most $30.
Q: Do I have to take the welcome bonus?
A: No. The code IQWELCOME was pre-applied. Remove it with the × in the amount step if you do not want it.
Q: Is it allowed to trade on IQ Option from Kenya?
A: We cannot give legal advice. Kenya’s Capital Markets Authority has warned against online forex trading through unlicensed firms and has told offshore firms to stop advertising such products in Kenya. Read the note above and check the rules that apply to you.
