Last updated: 8 October 2026. All screenshots below were recorded in one session that evening, on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Montenegro (traderoom clock at UTC+2). The provider lists our VPN server as Podgorica and flags it “virtual”; a location lookup put it in Sofia, but IQ Option’s sign-up form still read Montenegro as the country of residence. We halted every payment flow in front of its last button, so no money was sent.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Montenegro, step by step
We paid with Visa / Mastercard, the third tile of the recommended row. Red numbered boxes follow the clicks in order.
Step 1: Click Deposit
The green Deposit button (1) is in the top-right corner, beside the balance. The $10,000 next to it is Practice money.
Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
The Make a Deposit window shows a grey Refill to $10,000 button for play money and a green Top up your account button (1) for the real account, which stands at $0.00.
Step 3: Select Visa / Mastercard
Above the list, a banner offers the code IQWELCOME until 18 Oct 2026. Under “Recommended” we clicked Visa / Mastercard (1); Neteller and Skrill precede it, and the seven-coin “Crypto deposit” block follows.
Step 4: Choose the account currency
None of the three currencies was ticked on arrival. We pressed EUR (1) and then Next (2). A grey notice says the currency cannot be changed after the first deposit.
Step 5: Type the amount
Fill in the amount (1) or press a preset from €10 to €1,000. The promotion box (2) is an empty code field with an Apply button; the heading above it said “View available (1)”. We left the offer unopened and typed no code.
If you type €1 the field goes red and the limits of the card appear: “From €10 to €9,856” (1).
Step 6: Complete the card form
In the card block (1) go the card number, the month and year of expiry, the CVC and the name on the card. “Save my card for future instant payments” is already ticked (2). Accept the terms (3) and the green Deposit €10 button (4) completes the payment. We did not press it.

The public deposits page, read on 8 October 2026, lists four methods from 10 EUR (10 GBP, 10 USD, 700 RUB) each, with 0% commission and instant processing. Our cashier adds the coins.

Depositing with Skrill
Skrill accepted €10 to €1,000,000. Type the amount (1), tick the terms (2) and press Proceed to Payment (3) to continue on Skrill’s page. That click was the end of our test.
Depositing with Neteller
The Neteller range was the same. Beneath the amount (1) the form wants the email address of your Neteller account (2), with “Link my Neteller Account for instant payments” ticked. After the terms (3), Deposit €10 (4) pays. We entered no address.
Depositing with Tether (USDT) and other coins
You can fund the account with Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum (ERC-20), Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) on TRC20 or USDC on BNB Smart Chain; IQ Option converts the coin into your account currency. For Tether the range was €10 to €1,000,000. After the amount (1), the grey note (2) says the wallet address on the next page can be reused for any amount of €10 or more. Withdrawing from IQ Option in Montenegro
The first withdrawal of each calendar month is free on the withdrawals page, whatever the method (1); each further one costs 2% up to 30 EUR. The rows are Cardano, Ethereum and Litecoin, Neteller, two Visa/MasterCard entries (2), Ripple, Skrill, Tether, USD Coin, Volet.com USD and WebMoney WMZ. Bank transfers are not listed.

The footnote allows card issuers up to 21 calendar days and any request up to 3 business days. Bitcoin is missing from the six coin rows (Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether on TRC20 and USD Coin on BNB Smart Chain). Check the rules in Montenegro first
IQ Option let us register from Montenegro, but that is no Montenegrin licence. The Capital Market Authority (Komisija za tržište kapitala) tells investors in its standing warning that securities are bought and sold only through investment firms and credit institutions that hold a licence for investment services, asks people to check its list of licensed firms before they start doing business, and says they must tell the Authority when a firm is not on it (our translation). Its warnings page carries no alerts of its own and refers to alerts that the Authority receives from other IOSCO members. Montenegro does block websites in the gambling field: the government said on 31 May 2024 that the electronic communications agency had ordered operators to block, within three days, the websites on the Games of Chance Administration’s list. That list is about games of chance and we could not see its contents; we found nothing that treats trading platforms as gambling. We found no block of IQ Option, no case against people who write about it and no notice that names it. This is not legal advice. If your deposit has not arrived
- Compare with the time shown. Cards, Skrill and Neteller are instant; coins take up to an hour.
- Check the Neteller email. The form wants the address of your own Neteller account.
- Check the network. A coin sent over the wrong chain can be lost; Tether uses TRC20.
- Ask your bank. Some banks refuse card payments to foreign merchants; ask the issuer to allow it, or use an e-wallet.
