Last updated: 8 October 2026. We made every screenshot below that evening on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Monaco, in two passes, English first and then French (the traderoom clock read UTC+2). The provider lists our VPN server as Monaco and flags it “virtual”; a location lookup put it in Marseille, but IQ Option’s sign-up form still read Monaco as the country of residence. Each payment flow ended before its last button, so no money was sent.
The Monaco cashier has three recommended methods, Neteller, Skrill and Visa / Mastercard, all marked instant. Beneath them there is nothing: no cryptocurrencies, no Apple Pay or Google Pay and no local bank method. The account currency is chosen from EUR, GBP and USD, with none pre-selected. Below we follow a €10 card deposit, look at the Skrill and Neteller forms, set out the limits and the withdrawal table, and quote what the principality’s financial regulator has warned about. The French version of this page shows the same screens in IQ Option’s French interface.
Quick answer
- Minimum: €10 (or £10, $10) on every method.
- Fee: 0% from IQ Option on every method.
- In our cashier: Neteller, Skrill and Visa / Mastercard, all instant. No cryptocurrencies, no Apple Pay or Google Pay, no Monegasque bank or wallet.
- Limits we saw: Visa / Mastercard €10–9,856; Skrill and Neteller €10–1,000,000.
- Currency: EUR, GBP or USD (none pre-selected), chosen before your first deposit and fixed after it.
- Bonus: the method page showed an IQWELCOME banner until 18 Oct 2026 and the promotion box said “View available” with a count; we applied nothing.
- Withdrawals: one free per month, then 2% (at most €30); cards, Skrill, Volet.com and WebMoney from €2, Neteller from €10.
- Local rules: the CCAF warns about entities posing as Monaco banks and none of its notices names IQ Option; read the note before you deposit.
How to deposit on IQ Option in Monaco, step by step
Our example is Visa / Mastercard, the third tile. Numbered red boxes show the order of the clicks.
Step 1: Open the deposit window
Click the green Deposit button (1) at the top right, beside your balance. The $10,000 is virtual Practice money. The “Asset opens in” countdown on the chart only says that the asset shown was not open for trading at that moment; it has no bearing on the deposit.

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”
Skip the grey Refill to $10,000 button, which only resets the practice balance, and press Top up your account (1). The real account shows $0.00.

Step 3: Choose Visa / Mastercard
The IQWELCOME banner (valid until 18 Oct 2026) heads the page. “Recommended” shows Neteller, Skrill and Visa / Mastercard (1) in that order, each instant, and nothing follows.

Step 4: Pick the account currency
The step opened with nothing ticked. We clicked EUR (1) and then Next (2); GBP and USD are the alternatives. The grey notice warns that the currency cannot be changed after the first deposit.

Step 5: Type the amount
Put the amount in the field (1) or use a preset between €10 and €1,000. The promotion box (2) was an empty code field with an Apply button, and the line above it read “View available (1)” in English and “(3)” in the French pass. No offer was opened and no code was typed.

Type €1 and the field goes red; the limits of the card appear underneath: “From €10 to €9,856” (1).

Step 6: Enter the card details
The card block (1) takes the number, the month and year of expiry, the CVC and the name on the card. “Save my card for future instant payments” is ticked by default (2). Tick the terms (3) and the green Deposit €10 button (4) completes the payment. We did not press it.

All deposit methods in Monaco
We compared the cashier with IQ Option’s public deposits page, both read on 8 October 2026. The page lists four methods, each from 10 EUR (10 GBP, 10 USD, 700 RUB) with 0% commission and instant processing.
| Method | Time shown | Limits and notes |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | €10 to €9,856 |
| Skrill | Instant | €10 to €1,000,000 |
| Neteller | Instant | €10 to €1,000,000; asks for the Neteller email |
| Volet.com | Instant on the deposits page | 10 EUR on the page; not in our cashier |

Volet.com is on the page only. The page also warns that in some countries certain deposit methods stay restricted until the account has been fully verified.
Depositing with Skrill
The Skrill range read “From €10 to €1,000,000”. Enter the amount (1), tick the terms (2) and press Proceed to Payment (3) to be redirected to Skrill’s page. We left that button alone.

Depositing with Neteller
Neteller accepted the same €10 to €1,000,000. After the amount (1) the form asks for the email of your Neteller account (2); “Link my Neteller Account for instant payments” comes ticked. Once the terms are accepted (3), Deposit €10 (4) makes the payment. We typed no address and did not press the button.

Withdrawing from IQ Option in Monaco
On the withdrawals page, the first withdrawal of each calendar month is free whichever method you use (1); the next ones cost 2%, up to 30 EUR. Rows exist for Neteller, two Visa/MasterCard entries (2), Skrill, Volet.com USD and WebMoney WMZ; bank transfers and coins are not offered.
| Where the money goes | Minimum | Time shown |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / MasterCard (two rows) | €3 and €2 | Instant; the issuing bank can take up to 21 days |
| Skrill, Volet.com USD, WebMoney WMZ | €2 | 1 to 24 hours |
| Neteller | €10 | 1 to 24 hours |
According to the footnote, card issuers can take up to 21 calendar days, and any request up to 3 business days. The withdrawal list inside an account was not part of our test, so read yours. For the procedure, see how to withdraw from IQ Option. Our Monaco withdrawal guide shows what the withdrawal page of a Monegasque account lists.

Check the rules in Monaco first
Registering from Monaco worked, but that does not amount to a Monegasque licence. The Commission de contrôle des activités financières (CCAF) says on its warnings page that it may publish warnings there when needed (our translation). Its alert of 9 April 2026 warns the public against several entities claiming to offer banking or financial services in Monaco, among them “Forbes Private Bank Monaco SA” and “Simple Swift Bank”, and says they lack the authorisations needed to carry on those activities in the Principality (our translation of the French text). It is about firms posing as Monaco-based, not about foreign brokers, and IQ Option is not named. We found no block of the site, no case against people who write about IQ Option and no notice that names it. This is not legal advice. Weigh your own position, take advice where you need it and keep to money you can afford to lose. For the views of regulators elsewhere, see our legitimacy check.
If your deposit has not arrived
- Compare with the time shown. Cards, Skrill and Neteller should arrive at once.
- Is the Neteller email right? The form wants the address of your own Neteller account.
- Did the bank refuse it? Some banks decline card payments to overseas merchants. Ask yours to allow it, or use an e-wallet.
- Still nothing? Open Chats & Support in the sidebar or email support@iqoption.com. The support guide shows how.
