How to Deposit on IQ Option in Ghana: Card, Mobile Money, Skrill and USDT (2026)

Last updated: 8 October 2026. Every screenshot below was recorded that day (GMT) on an IQ Option Practice account registered in Ghana. Our VPN server is listed by its provider as Accra and flagged “virtual”, and a location lookup put it in Lagos, but IQ Option’s sign-up form still read Ghana as the country of residence. We stopped each flow before its last button, so no money was sent and no identity document was uploaded.

Ghana is one of the few countries where our test account was offered a local method: Ghana Mobile Money sits in the “Recommended” row beside Visa / Mastercard and Skrill, tagged “Fast verification”. Below them are seven cryptocurrencies, and Neteller closes the page under “Other methods”. There is no cedi account; the currency step offers US dollars, euros and pounds. This guide walks through a $10 card deposit, shows what the mobile money form asks for and why we could not go further with it, and covers Skrill, Tether, the limits, withdrawals and Ghana’s securities regulator.

How to deposit on IQ Option in Ghana, step by step

We paid with Visa / Mastercard, the first tile in the cashier. The red numbers on the screenshots follow the order of the clicks.

Step 1: Click Deposit

Use the green Deposit button at the top right of the traderoom (1). The $10,000 beside it is play money from the Practice account.

Step 2: Choose “Top up your account”

Two choices appear in the Make a Deposit window. The grey Refill to $10,000 only refills the practice balance. Press Top up your account (1), the green button on the real-account side, where the balance is $0.00.

Step 3: Pick Visa / Mastercard

A welcome-bonus banner (code IQWELCOME, valid until 18 Oct 2026) heads the payment-method page. The “Recommended” row holds Visa / Mastercard, Ghana Mobile Money and Skrill. Click Visa / Mastercard (1). Seven coins take 5 to 60 minutes each, and Neteller sits alone under “Other methods”.

Step 4: Confirm USD as the account currency

The currency list opened with USD selected (1); EUR and GBP are the other two. Press Next (2). IQ Option warns that the currency cannot be changed once you have deposited.

Step 5: Enter the amount and check the bonus

Type the amount (1) or use a quick button, from $10 up to $1,000. IQWELCOME was already applied (2). On $10 the form showed “Bonus 50%”, +$5, and $15 to be credited; the buttons advertised +70% on $20, +80% on $30, +90% on $50 and $100, and +100% from $250. Press the × if you want no bonus.

One dollar turns the field red and brings up the limits, “From $10 to $11,050” (1), plus the line “Deposit $10 or more to get a bonus” (2).

Step 6: Enter your card details and confirm

The card block (1) takes the card number, expiry month and year, CVC and the name on the card. “Save my card for future instant payments” is already ticked (2). Tick the terms (3) and the green Deposit $10 button (4) pays. We stopped in front of it.

Depositing with Ghana Mobile Money

Choosing Ghana Mobile Money in step 3 leads to the same currency step and then to a form that was greyed out for our new account. Its note (1) lists four steps: make sure the mobile account has enough funds, wait for a payment request on your phone, confirm it, and check the number if no prompt arrives. It names the networks that can be used: Telecel (Vodafone, Mpesa), Airtel Money (Tigo Money) and MTN. The phone number goes in the field below (2) in international format with 12 digits; the placeholder reads 233XXXXXXXXX. After the terms box (3) comes a notice (4): “Verification required for this method”. IQ Option says its KYC and AML policy requires you to verify your identity first, with a document check of about 3 minutes, and offers a Verify Identity button. We never pressed it, typed no number and uploaded nothing, so we cannot say how a mobile money payment ends. The quick buttons on this form stop at $250.

All deposit methods in Ghana

The table sets our cashier next to IQ Option’s public deposits page, both read on 8 October 2026. The page lists five methods with the same terms: 10 USD (10 EUR, 10 GBP, 1000 RUB), 0% commission, instant processing.

Volet.com is on the page only, the coins in the cashier only. A footnote on the page says that some countries restrict certain deposit methods until an account is fully verified, which fits what the mobile money form told us.

Depositing with Skrill and Tether (USDT)

Skrill accepted $10 to $1,000,000. Type the amount (1), keep or remove the bonus code (2), tick the terms (3) and press Proceed to Payment (4), which sends you to Skrill’s own page. We did not press it.

The crypto list is Bitcoin, USDC on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum (ERC-20), Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) on TRC20, Litecoin and Cardano. Whatever you send is converted into your account currency on arrival. Tether took the same $10 to $1,000,000. Enter the amount (1), read the grey note (2) that the wallet address can be reused for any amount of $10 or more, tick the terms (3) and press Proceed to Payment (4). Use the TRC20 network only. Withdrawing from IQ Option in Ghana

The withdrawals page grants one free withdrawal per calendar month, whatever the method (1); later ones cost 2%, capped at 30 USD. The list contains a mobile money row (2), “Mobile money (MTN, Mpesa/Vodafone, Airtel Money)”, at $12 and 1 to 24 hours, so a payout to a mobile wallet appears to be possible; we did not test one.

The page’s footnote lets card issuers take up to 21 calendar days, and any request may need up to 3 business days. Its six coins are USD Coin (BNB Smart Chain), Tether (TRC20), Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano and Litecoin; there is no Bitcoin row, and we did not open the withdrawal list inside the account, so check yours. Check the rules in Ghana first

IQ Option let us register from Ghana, but that is no Ghanaian licence, and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has published several warnings about online platforms. Its public notice SEC/PN/002/07/2026 of 22 July 2026 names 23 entities “operating on social media and online, promoting and offering unlicensed investment products”, among them Expert (Expect) Option and QX Broker, says the SEC has not licensed any of them and adds that it “is currently collaborating with Law Enforcement Agencies to clamp down on the people behind these entities and schemes”. A joint list of the SEC and the Economic and Organised Crime Office dated 13 September 2022 included Binomo Investment. In June 2026 the SEC also issued Directive Dir/001/06/2026, which required anyone owning or operating an online investment or trading platform that performs SEC-licensed activity to register or obtain a licence before 31 August 2026 and told unlicensed operators to “immediately desist”. None of the three documents names IQ Option, and we cannot tell whether the directive reaches a foreign broker. We found no Ghanaian block of the site and no report of action against people who write about it. If your deposit has not arrived

• Look at the time shown. Cards, Skrill and Neteller are instant, coins need 5 to 60 minutes.
• Match the network. A coin sent over a chain other than the one on the form can be lost; Tether runs on TRC20.
• Check the mobile money prompt. The form says a request is sent to your phone and that you must confirm it; if nothing arrives, check that the number is correct and active.
