Short answer. Both are offshore brokers with a $10 minimum deposit, a demo account and deposit bonuses. They serve different countries: Binomo’s agreement lists Brazil, the UAE, the UK and the USA among the countries it does not serve. The main money rules differ. At IQ Option the first withdrawal of each month is free and later ones cost 2% (at most $30). At Binomo a withdrawal costs 10% of the balance or of your last deposit, whichever is greater, if your trading turnover has not passed twice your deposit, and bonus money carries a turnover of 35 or 40 times the bonus. Binomo caps a trade at $5,000 and IQ Option at $20,000. Neither company shows a financial licence for clients outside the EU: Binomo names a Financial Commission membership, a dispute-resolution body.

IQ Option vs Binomo battle in details
We compare the two on what each company states on its own website and in its own terms. We list the same criteria as before: how long the broker has operated, regulation, size, account types, assets, returns, payment methods, deposits and withdrawals, accessibility, support and extra features.
How long Binomo and IQ Option have been operational
IQ Option’s home page is titled “Online Trading Platform Since 2013”. Binomo’s footer reads “© 2014-2026”, so we state 2014 for Binomo; our previous version said both were founded in 2013. Binomo’s Client Agreement names Dolphin Corp LLC, incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (registration number 915 LLC 2021), with an office at Euro House, Richmond Hill Road, Kingstown. IQ Option outside the EEA is operated by SKY LADDER LLC in Antigua and Barbuda, with payments handled by FIDELES LIMITED in Cyprus.
Regulation
IQ Option’s Licenses and Safeguards page names a licence for one company only: IQBroker Europe Ltd, licensed by CySEC (247/14) and permitted to serve EEA residents only. It names no financial licence for SKY LADDER LLC. Binomo’s regulation page says it has been a category “A” member of The Financial Commission since May 2018, that the commission’s compensation fund covers up to €20,000 per case, and that it agreed to a monthly audit of 5,000 executed trades by Verify My Trade. The Financial Commission describes itself as a dispute-resolution organisation; membership is not a financial licence. Regulators in Brazil, Malaysia and Singapore have published warnings about IQ Option (details in our review).
Number of active accounts on the platforms
Both give figures that we cannot verify. IQ Option’s home page says 188,456,643 traders in 180 countries and does not say how many are active. Binomo’s home page says 954,513 active traders daily, 133 countries of presence and 29,222,072 successful trades in the past week. Our previous version said Binomo “does not state how many users they have” and quoted IQ Option’s 240 countries and 50 million members from older pages; Binomo now states a daily figure and IQ Option’s current claim is 180 countries.
Account types
Binomo has five statuses. According to its help center you reach Gold with total deposits of $500 and VIP with $1,000; the statuses page lists the benefits below. IQ Option has a free Practice account and a real account, plus a VIP programme and an Islamic account.

Both offer a demo account. IQ Option’s Practice balance is $10,000 and can be refilled for free when it falls below that; the Binomo pages that we read do not state a demo balance, so we state none (our previous version said $1,000).
Types of assets offered
Binomo’s statuses page lists 100+ assets for a Free account, rising to 140+ for VIP and Prestige. On 4 October 2026 IQ Option’s Practice menu on a Brazilian account listed 520 option assets (Blitz 169, Binary 178, Digital 173) and 697 margin instruments (forex 44, stocks 499, crypto 80, commodities 23, indices 21, ETFs 30). Returns on trades
Binomo’s statuses page gives a payout of up to 83% (Standard), 84% (Gold) and 85% (VIP and Prestige); its home page also advertises up to 90% for a first deposit under a crypto promotion. IQ Option’s winning binary options paid 82–88% in our 70 Practice trades on 2 October 2026, and its asset list showed up to 91% on some Blitz OTC pairs on 4 October. IQ Option’s help center answers “Why do my friends have a bigger payout than me?” by saying the company decides and can change the profitability percentage at any time. Our previous version claimed returns of up to 95% for IQ Option and 70–87% for Binomo; we removed both because neither is on the current pages.
Payment methods accepted
Binomo’s home page lists bank cards, e-wallets, crypto methods and bank transfer, and its help center covers local methods such as Havale and iCash.One. IQ Option’s payment-methods page lists cards, e-wallets and local methods that differ by country; a Brazilian account showed Visa, Neteller, Volet.com, Skrill, Apple Pay and Google Pay and the cashier added PIX, PicPay, Boleto Rapido and crypto. Accessibility
Binomo’s home page offers apps for iOS and Android, an Android APK and a VIP app, plus the web version; we found no desktop app. IQ Option’s download menu lists Windows, macOS, iOS and Android (Google Play and an APK), and its platform has 18 interface languages. See our app guide.
Support
Binomo lists online chat, the email address support@binomo.com and a help center. IQ Option’s contact page lists chat (average response 3 to 5 minutes) and support@iqoption.com, and its platform footer says “every day, around the clock”. Neither page lists a phone number. Our previous version said IQ Option offers phone support “including a UK phone number”; the contact page lists no phone number, so we removed the claim.
Additional features
Both have tournaments and tutorials. Binomo’s tournaments page showed two events on 5 October 2026: “Tiger” with a €40 participation fee and a €40,223 prize fund, and “Business” with a €9 fee and a €1,716 prize fund. IQ Option’s tournaments are covered in our tournament guide. IQ Option’s chart candles run from 5 seconds to 1 month. Binomo’s help center lists 5-second trades. Both offer weekend trading on selected assets: IQ Option’s weekend lists show OTC instruments, whose quotes IQ Option’s help centre says are generated on its own server.
Bonuses and the Binomo referral programme
Binomo’s statuses page offers deposit bonuses of up to 100% to 300% depending on status, and its home page offers up to $100 for inviting friends (up to $850 at VIP and Prestige on the statuses page). Under clause 10.4 of its agreement a bonus carries a mandatory trading turnover equal to the bonus multiplied by a factor; unless the offer states another factor, the factor is 40, or 35 for deposit bonuses below 50% of the deposit. The profit from bonus trades may have withdrawal limits (clause 10.7). IQ Option’s cashier pre-applied the code IQWELCOME on our accounts, and its Promotional Codes Policy says that after a deposit bonus is active you cannot withdraw until you reach the trading volume shown in the offer or cancel the bonus. Both companies also run affiliate programmes. Our earlier remark that Binomo operates a “multi-level marketing business model” was not supported by its documents, so we removed it. We are an IQ Option affiliate, which is why we publish the sources.

IQ Option vs Binomo, our verdict
Neither broker is clearly better. Availability decides first: Binomo does not serve Brazil, the UAE or Singapore, and IQ Option does not serve the EEA, UK, USA and others. After that the costs differ. IQ Option’s rules reward a single monthly withdrawal and ask you to watch the pre-applied bonus, the 4% conversion fee and the dormant fee. Binomo’s rules reward trading volume before you withdraw and carry a 35 to 40 times bonus turnover. Both are offshore companies without a financial licence listed for clients outside the EU. Use the demo accounts first, read the withdrawal and bonus clauses of the one you pick, and test one small withdrawal before you add money. Our earlier verdict that IQ Option “clearly has the upper hand” and that Binomo’s operations are “shrouded with secrecy” was opinion without a like-for-like test, so we dropped it.
