Economic event verification context
Use a primary economic calendar, broker calendar, or official release source to verify upcoming releases, currency, impact level, and timezone before completing the News Impact Planner above. The planner is a worksheet for session context; it does not fetch live event data.
How to use event context with the planner
- Verify the event first – check the event time, timezone, currency, and impact level in a primary calendar or official release source.
- Set an avoid window – choose how many minutes before and after the event should be treated as a caution window.
- Compare your planned session – enter the intended session start and length to see whether it overlaps the selected window.
- Record the context – save the review or send it to the Trade Journal before continuing with session planning.
